Daniel Radcliffe proudly accepts the Ultimate Scream Award via satellite from New York City during the Scream 2011 Awards on Saturday evening (October 15).
Recorded the night before, the 22-year-old actor thanked fans on stage.
“This is amazing. Really, thank you guys so so much,” Daniel started out. “I’ve had the most incredible ten years of my life on Harry Potter. I had such an amazing time; I want to thank - first of all, all of you for coming; second of all, everyone who watched the films over the ten years and who supported us, and everyone who voted around the world, not just for me, but for the film. It’s been the year of the longest goodbye in the world and it is a very very sad thing, but we just had the most amazing, amazing time. So, thank you so much for this, this is crazy.”
Total awards won by the HP franchise: The Ultimate Scream, Best Scream-Play, Best Fantasy Actor, Best Villain (Ralph Fiennes), Best F/X and Holy Sh** Scene of the Year.

Dan recently spoke to HollywoodOutbreak about his upcoming film release, The Woman in Black and how he hope fans perceive it, and his successors in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Darren Criss and Nick Jonas. That can be read here.

Daniel Radcliffe: The part was great because it was an older part - you know, I'm playing older than I normally have, which is different for people, and I'm playing a father which is a bit of a leap for some people. I don't quite understand why because I think we put Arthur's age at about 24-25 with a five-year-old son, which is completely conceivable in modern day, even moreso in the 1800s - late 1800s.

So it was perfect in that sense, but it wasn't so different that people were going to start saying. 'Oh, he's just trying too hard to separate himself,' and all that rubbish. What was brilliant about it for me was the fact that it was a great part, but the story was the focus, rather than the part. The story's what's compelling. That's the thing for me - it couldn't have just been a great part, with some really big acting challenges. I wanna do a film where people get involved in the film, and not about me, because that's not really what it's about. Although I am the main character, it's about the film as a whole, and that, for me, is what people will like about this film. They might be going in thinking, 'Oh, we're going to see Harry Potter do his new film,' but like ten minutes in they're just not really care about that, and are gonna want to watch the film for what it is.

Daniel: I haven't met either [Darren Criss and Nick Jonas] yet, but I look forward to meeting them. I would never deign to give advice; they'll find their own thing. I do want to talk to Darren Criss, since he is the guy that is going to be replacing me, because there is one joke that I have to give him that I was given by Matthew Broderick, who was given to it by Robert Morse, so every Finch on Broadway would have had this one joke, which I quite like the idea of. I've become aware of Darren Criss since I knew he was going to be coming into the show. I think he'll do a great job.

I'm kind of slightly disappointed for him because he only gets to do it for three weeks because I know that it's got to a place that, now after seven months, where I'm really really happy with the show. It takes a while, because you got to find all the nuances and stuff is. It's hard, but I think he'll do a great job.

Buktinya, film berjudul lengkap Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 ini jadi film  dengan untung paling banyak di hari pertama pemutarannya di box office Amerika Utara. Demikian kabar yang dilansir Associated Press, Minggu (17/7). Harry Potter 7 Part 2, yang tayang perdana sejak Jumat kemarin di AS, meraup AS$ 92,1 juta di hari pertamanya.
Angka itu hampir AS$ 20 juta lebih tinggi dari pemegang rekor hari pertama sebelumnya, The Twilight Saga: New Moon, yang meraih AS$ 72,2 juta di hari pertama pemutaran.
Film Harry Potter 7 Part 2 juga mencatat rekor penayangan midnight dengan angka AS$ 43,5 juta. Angka itu melebihi perolehan The Twiilight Saga: Eclipse yang meraih AS$ 30 juta pada pertunjukkan midnight tahun lalu.
Para analis box office di Hollywood.com meramalkan film pamungkas Harry Potter ini bakal mengalahkan rekor angka pemutaran akhir pekan pertama AS$ 158,4 juta yang diraih The Dark Knight.

Daniel also admitted he doesn't think his fans view him in the same was as 'Twilight' devotees do Robert Pattinson because they have seen him grow up on screen.

He explained to the British edition of GQ magazine: "There's more of a sexual energy behind 'Twilight' fans. Because people have mostly grown up with me, they tend to think of me as an older brother kind of figure. Whereas I think Rob is the sex symbol. And also, I guess, he's out there more than I am, going to parties and things.

"I think everyone goes to more parties than me, so it's not really a big competition."
